Man United too quick to sack Jose Mourinho, says Marouane Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini believes Manchester United were fast to bag Jose Mourinho and criticised the club turnaround in firing and hiring managers.
The Belgian spent years before leaving Old Trafford in January to get Shandong Luneng in the Super League, at United, during which time he performed four distinct managers. Fellaini won Europa League and the EFL Cup beneath Mourinho but the Portuguese was sacked last year following a poor run of results.
But Uniteds issues have not settled with Mourinhos death – using successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer presiding over the clubs worst start to a season for 30 years this period – and Fellaini believes the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager ought to have been granted more time.
They earned one of the greatest managers in the world in Jose Mourinho, he wanted to create a group and they sacked him Fellaini told reporters. Its not easy to construct a team at the moment, you need more than two decades.
I do not know what theyll do with Solskjaer however, for me, to acquire things and to enhance, you need time. Mourinho, for its very first season, he did amazingly, the team improved, won things. Ok, the second season was a little more difficult, but he attempted, you know, and did his best to help the team. Then they decided to sack him.
For me personally, yes [United were too hasty in sacking Mourinho] as a manager like that comes and that he wants a lot of players to execute his own philosophy. He wanted to build his team and after two decades, or two decades and a halfthey decided to sack him because the outcomes were not there.
The 31-year-old played under David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Mourinho and, temporarily, Solskjaer during his time at Old Trafford, winning the FA Cup under the Dutchman, and he also says none of these coaches were given sufficient time in the role by the club.
They earned Moyes, they didnt give him a while. They brought in Van Gaalthey gave him and we started to do a few things, he even won the cupbut then they sacked the supervisor because they would like to win I think. A manager just like Van Gaal tactically is very robust and has a lot of expertise and they chased him, he explained.
But if you look to construct a team you will need time, not change a manager every couple of years, every year. If the boss does not perform well for four or five matches, they want to sack him.
Manchester United won every thing for many years with Sir Alex Ferguson, so for someone else to come and do what he did is not that easy. They had a group and a solid foundation. Its not easy for someone to come and perform enjoy Sir Alex Ferguson. People and supporters of Manchester United want that, but football has transformed, the mindset of players has changed.
Fellaini was critical of some of those younger players in United for time they spent on social networking and reckons Solskjaer will fight to be competitive by simply relying on youngsters after deciding to proceed on more experienced gamers such as himself, Romelu Lukaku along with Alexis Sanchez.
You see some players go straight into the dressing room following matches and go directly onto social networking, he further added. It is wrong. Now you have a new supervisor who desired young players and they will be down and up, down and up; that is soccer, thats what occurs with players that are young.
Obviously you cant play with just young players, you will need a mixture. To win games, to win games, to win massive matches you need expertise. Of course you can win with players that are young, but not every game.
Fellaini added:The players that abandoned are gamers of expertise. Hence the trainer decided he didnt want them thats the selection of the coach. He decided he did not desire Lukaku or even Sanchez. Thats his problem. He has his own players therefore he has to deal with it.
He [Solskjaer] did not have a dialogue with me if I will perform or not. I signed up a contract among the greatest managers in the world wanted me to stay. But after that, if a new manager comes and I am not in his plans, of course it was time for me to depart and that I dont regret it whatsoever.
