Brazilian tennis player Diego Matos has been prohibited from professional tennis for life and fined $125,000 (#100,600) after being convicted of numerous match-fixing offences.
Matos has also been ordered to refund $12,000 (#9,650) obtained in winnings in championships played Ecuador.
An independent hearing discovered that 31-year-old Matos had contrived the consequence of 10 tennis games played in ITF degree championships during 2018 in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Portugal and Spain.
Besides the match-fixing charges, the participant was found guilty of not co-operating with a Tennis Integrity Unit evaluation as he neglected to provide documents, also refused to comply with orders to supply his mobile phone for evaluation.
