Man United too quick to sack Jose Mourinho, says Marouane Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini considers Manchester United emphasise that the rapid turnaround of the club in hiring and firing managers and were too fast to sack Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian spent five-and-a-half years before leaving Old Trafford in January, in United, during which time he performed under four unique managers. Fellaini won the EFL Cup and Europa League under Mourinho but the Portuguese was sacked in December last year following a poor run of results.
However, Uniteds issues havent settled with Mourinhos death – using successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer presiding over the clubs worst start to a year for 30 years this period – and Fellaini believes the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager ought to have been given longer.
They earned one of their best managers in the world in Jose Mourinho, he wanted to create a team and they chased him, Fellaini told reporters. It is not easy to construct a team at the time, you want over a couple of decades.
I dont understand what they will do with Solskjaer but, for mepersonally, to win things and also to enhance, you will need time. Mourinho, for the season, hed amazingly, he improved the group, won things. Ok, the season was challenging, but he attempted, you know, and also did his very best to assist the team. They chose to sack him.
For me, yes [United were overly hasty in sacking Mourinho] because a supervisor like that comes and he wants a whole lot of gamers to implement his own doctrine. He wanted to build his group and after two years, two decades plus a half, they made a decision to sack him because the results werent there.
The 31-year-old played under David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Mourinho and, temporarily, Solskjaer during his time at Old Trafford, winning the FA Cup under the Dutchman, and he also says none of these coaches were given enough time at the role from the club.
They brought in Moyes, they didnt give him his time. They earned Van Gaalthey handed him two decades and we began to do some things, he even won the cupbut that they sacked the manager because they want to win fast, I think. A manager like Van Gaal tactically is very robust and has a lot of knowledge and they chased him, he said.
But if you look to construct a group you need time, not change a supervisor every 2 years, every year. If the boss doesnt perform well for four or five games, they need to sack him.
Manchester United won every thing for years together with Sir Alex Ferguson, therefore for someone else to come along and do what he did is not that easy. They had a group and a solid base. It is not simple for someone to come and perform like Sir Alex Ferguson. People and fans of Manchester United need that, but soccer has changed, the mentality of players has shifted.
Fellaini was very important to a number of those younger players in United for time they spent on social networking and reckons Solskjaer will struggle to be aggressive by simply relying on youngsters after deciding to proceed on more experienced gamers such as himself, even Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
You find a few players go into the dressing room following games and go straight onto social networking, he further added. It is wrong. Now youve got a supervisor who wanted players and theyll be up and down, down and up; that is football, that is what occurs with young players.
Of course you cant play just young players, you will need a mixture. To win matches, to acquire titles, to win big matches expertise is needed by you. Obviously you may win with players that are young, but not each match.
Fellaini included:The players that left are players of expertise. So that the trainer decided he didnt need them thats the coachs selection. He decided he didnt desire Lukaku or Sanchez. Thats his problem. Hes his players now, so he must manage this.
He [Solskjaer] didnt have a dialogue with me if Ill do or not. I signed up up a new contract among the best managers in the world wanted me to remain. But after that, if a new manager comes and Im not in his plans, naturally it was time for me to leave and I do not regret it at all.
