Man United too quick to sack Jose Mourinho, says Marouane Fellaini
Marouane Fellaini considers Manchester United emphasise that the rapid turnaround of the club in hiring and firing managers and were too fast to sack Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian spent five-and-a-half years before leaving Old Trafford in January, in United, during which time he performed under four unique managers. Fellaini won the EFL Cup and Europa League under Mourinho but the Portuguese was sacked in December last year following a poor run of results.
However, Uniteds issues havent settled with Mourinhos death – using successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer presiding over the clubs worst start to a year for 30 years this period – and Fellaini believes the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager ought to have been given longer.

But if you look to construct a group you need time, not change a supervisor every 2 years, every year. If the boss doesnt perform well for four or five games, they need to sack him.
Manchester United won every thing for years together with Sir Alex Ferguson, therefore for someone else to come along and do what he did is not that easy. They had a group and a solid base. It is not simple for someone to come and perform like Sir Alex Ferguson. People and fans of Manchester United need that, but soccer has changed, the mentality of players has shifted.
